January 14, 2022, Atlanta, GA – Following a 20+ year career at Chi-Rho Financial, LLC (Chi-Rho), it is bittersweet that we announce the retirement of Chief Financial Officer, Steve Smith, and the promotion of Jason Buser, CFA, CMA to the same position.
Jason Buser joined Chi-Rho in April 2021 as the Director of Finance and has worked closely with Steve Smith and the accounting team over the past year to seamlessly absorb the CFO responsibilities. Prior to joining Chi-Rho, Jason spent ten years at Delta Air Lines, most recently as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (2018-2020) and General Manager of Investor Relations (2014-2018). Jason started his career in equity research at Raymond James & Associates where he covered the payment processing and information

Steve Smith, who joined Chi-Rho in 2000, has been a key component of the firm’s longevity and enduring success. Though now living in Destin, Florida, Steve will not be a stranger to Chi-Rho as he remains a phone call away and plans to regularly visit family in the greater-Atlanta area. We encourage everyone who has gotten to know Steve over the years to reach out to him and wish him well on his next chapter.
